Pigglet (M; ~4 years old when rescued; suffered from heartworm)

Pigglet is a sunny boy born around 2017. He lived in a parking lot since he was a puppy, and in September 2020, he was involved in an accident. Luckily, a kind-hearted person named Dan rescued him and took him to the hospital, where he was unfortunately diagnosed with heartworm. Later, the kind person sought help from the shelter and brought Pigglet in to recover. Because he is very well-behaved and affectionate, it was hard to let him go, so he has stayed at the shelter waiting for adoption.

Pigglet has white coat syndrome, and he has been taken to the clinic multiple times to receive heartworm treatment, but each time he had to postpone due to a fever or high body temperature. So, we have to invite the vet to come to the shelter to administer the injections when Pigglet isn't running a fever.

Although getting the treatment is very painful, the obedient Pigglet sits quietly without a muzzle or any force, just enduring the process. This sturdy-looking sunny boy loves to smile, cuddle, and is very understanding, making him incredibly lovable.

Pigglet enjoys learning commands and is highly obedient. Despite having gone through the hardships typical of stray dogs, he still longs for love and has maintained his complete trust in humans.

With his innocent and silly demeanor, Pigglet always wears his signature smile.
