Lucy (F; ~3 yrs old when rescued; stray dog)

Lucy was captured in late 2020 on a mountain in the Western District. We initially planned to spay her and release her back, but the neighbors informed us that wild boars were increasingly frequenting the area. These bold animals were unafraid of people and often finished off the food left out by residents, leaving the dogs hungry. After careful consideration, we decided to keep the timid Lucy at the shelter.

Lucy is extremely fearful of people and usually curls up in a corner during the day. She only moves around to eat after the lights go out at night. We sincerely hope that Lucy will soon learn to trust our kindness and adapt to her new life.
